The grand debut of Holi & the Beach presented by Radio5 Events took place on Sunday, April 7 at Seaside Lagoon in Redondo Beach, CA.

Dream project arrives
For the past 16 years, Radio5 Events produces monthly Bollywood nights in LA at the most prestigious venues. After the pandemic put a pause on the grand plans for an outdoor Holi Festival, 2024 finally saw this dream project on full display bringing communities together to celebrate Indian culture featuring:

- Food
- Festival Main-stage + more
This year, the event featured local vendors who added to the good vibes of Holi & the Beach from mouth watering Indian dishes to Thandai (popular drink during Holi season) & Indian filtered coffee, every stall was packed with smiles. Massive thanks to our vendors:

Headliner: Tiktok Superstar AJ WAVY
Holi & the Beach debuted with Sony Recording artist and global Tiktok sensation, AJ WAVY (London) who brought his viral Bollywood mashups into LA and he knocked it out of the park. Looking out from the stage you could see smiles and good vibes all around. Closing out the festival was DJ Nitro from 3D Sounds that took the sandy beach dance-floor to another level.

After 4 years of blood sweat and tears, the pandemic halting plans + rain re-schedule, it was a breath of fresh air to be able to produce our inaugural Holi Festival with you! The ritual shall live on, and we are looking forward to seeing you all again in 2025 for the next installment of our March tradition.
